Proposal for new e-zine, "TEKNIDERMY - An International Skinners Journal"

from: Kenray
to: all interested parties

Proposed: the creation of a free on-line periodical dedicated to, created by, and serving the community of designers and programmers who call themselves "skinners".
Proposed: that this periodical should include, but not be restricted to, interviews with prominent, interesting, and influential members of the community, news of relevance to the skinning community and it's activities, factual instruction of note, editorial content, posting of, and response to, letters, and where it is relevant, graphic images.
Proposed: that this periodical be static, published on an "every-other-month" basis; with all issues remaining available indefinitely, in a publicly available archive.
Proposed: that the first issue be for the November/December period of 2000.
Proposed: to accept, for review and consideration for publication, any and all articles, interviews, tutorials or commentary submitted.
Proposed: that this periodical be entirely in service of the public interest, that it be about information, that it be concise, elegant and efficient, lacking all the blinking flak that infests so much of the internet as we know it.

We sincerly hope to attract reporters to conduct interviews via chat, or if such can be arranged, by phone. We hope to attract at least three people to become official "staff" reporters.
If you have the time, desire and commitment to be one of those people, we would greatly
appreciate you.

We hope to receive articles, interviews and commentary related to skinning, and relative subjects.
The authors will retain all © to everything they present, or submit.

This e-zine will contain in every issue, a colophon, and a list of contributors / staff.
Credit will be given where credit is due.

At this time, this is community service. NO money or promise of payment is meant or implied.

We ask all interested parties to contact us, via e-mail, at: Teknidermy@aol.com.
Please reference your mail with the subject line "RE: TEKNIDERMY".

Please send all comments inquiries and contributions in text format, in the body of an e-mail.
If you have images to support your work, we will recive them in secure format,
at a later date.

Within days, Teknidermy.org will go online, to provide interested parties with an opportunity
to recieve, by e-mail, notification of new issues at time of publishing, and to provide information
as to the progress of the publication.

Thanks for your time, we hope to hear from you soon.
